Kona Bridge Club, an ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) affiliate, is offering classes in basic Bridge in January, 2026.  Any members of the public, of any age, are invited to learn this thoughtful and interesting game, and no prior experience with bridge is needed. The sessions will run on Saturdays, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and February 7.  Each participant will receive one book, Bridge Basics 1,  by Audrey Grant.  The cost of the entire session, which includes the Audrey Grant book, is $30, payable via cash or check (to Kona Bridge Club)  at the first session.

The classes will be held at the Bridge Building, aka the auditorium, at the very bottom of the Makua Lani Christian Academy High School, 74-4966 Kealaka'a St., Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740 from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on each Saturday.  Students are welcome to stay and observe club bridge games, which begin at 1 p.m.  Please register in advance or get questions answered by calling or texting ACBL-certified instructor Peggy Spencer at (808) 756-2249, or email her at peggyspencer@aol.com.  On Saturday, January 3, please arrive at 9:30 to register, pay your fees, and get your books.
