It’s almost Mario (Mar10) Day! Time to celebrate!

Join us for a day of fun at the library all in celebration of Mario. Schedule of events as follows:

•   3:30pm-5pm: Super Mario Bros. Movie Screening 

Based on the Super Mario video games, the animated film follows Mario on his adventures with his friends. Mario joins forces with Princess Peach and Toad. The trio is in search of Mario’s brother Luigi. Together, they hope to defeat the evil Bowser and save the Mushroom Kingdom from his destructive schemes. Rated PG, run time is 92 mins. Movie will be screened in the Adult Room and all ages are welcome.

•   5pm-6:30pm :Play Mario Kart on Wii

Face off against a friend in Mario Kart! Can you race this retro system into 2024? Activity will be in the Young Adult Room and is for tweens and teens.

•   All Afternoon: Mario Perler Bead Craft

Make your favorite Mario character with perler beads. Create a stand alone, magnet, or keychain to take home. All supplies provided. Craft will be held in the Young Adult Room while supplies last and is for tweens and teens.

Enjoy Mario themed snacks for all activities, proudly sponsored by Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.).
