The Honoka‘a Jazz Band returns to Kahilu! 

Founded by Gary Washburn in 1988, this award-winning student ensemble is a nationally recognized GRAMMY Signature School. Known for its high-energy performances and commitment to music education, the band brings big band jazz, swing, and blues to the stage with heart and soul.

They’ve performed across Hawai‘i and beyond, including national music conventions and NPR’s From the Top. Proceeds from this performance support the band’s continuing educational and outreach efforts.
