Uila Records presents “Punk Rock Night” on October 16th! The popular Waimea record store hosts weekly live music events every Wednesday, featuring local and internationally touring artists. 

EL SANCHO’s fun, fast and loud music is reminiscent of bands like Screeching Weasel, Green Day and the Ramones. With songs rarely clocking in over 2 minutes, expect a frantic punk rock burst of energy from these Waikoloa-based punkers. EL SANCHO has been performing around Hawaii since 2019 and has opened for notable touring bands like Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, FEAR, Teenage Bottlerocket, DOA, and many more. Their 2023 album Heads Up received airplay from collage radio stations around the country as well as spotlights on Hawaii Public Radio and Sirius XM.  

TWO YEARS APART is a teenage band from Hilo that plays a mix of classic covers and punky originals. By moving deftly from Rush to Fugazi to the Arctic Monkeys, these four kids showcase their chops and musical diversity. Not just a cover band, TYA highlights their songwriting chops with catchy originals as well. 

The concert runs from 6pm-8pm. Admission is $10 and all ages are welcome. Beer and wine available for those who are 21+. Pau Pizza, next door, is a great spot to grab a slice of pizza while rocking out!
