Zero Waste Day and Trashion Show to Promote Sustainability and Creativity

Waikoloa Markets is excited to announce its upcoming Zero Waste Day event set to take place on April 5, 9am - 1pm at the Waikoloa Plaza, 68-1820 Waikoloa Road, Waikoloa HI, 96738. 

The Zero Waste Day will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn practical steps they can take to reduce their environmental impact on Hawaii Island and beyond. This innovative and eco-friendly event will celebrate sustainable living with hands-on activities, opportunities to engage local sustainability experts and organizations, and a Trashion Show which showcases innovative outfits created from discarded materials.

April is Earth Month and this event is open to the public and attendees of all ages are welcome to join the celebration of eco-conscious living. Whether you're looking to start your zero waste journey, or simply enjoy a fun morning of fashion and sustainability, Zero Waste Day promises to be an inspiring experience. 

The Zero Waste Day takes place alongside of our regular monthly Waikoloa Community Market where you will find local foods, produce, plants, art, jewelry and more.
