Friends of the Pana‘ewa Zoo Annual Plant Sale – Saturday, May 3, 2025
Mark your calendars for one of the island’s most anticipated green events! The Friends of the Pana‘ewa Zoo (FOZ) will host their Annual Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 3, from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the entrance to the Pana‘ewa Equestrian Center.
This once-a-year fundraiser brings together some of Hawai‘i Island’s top growers and plant enthusiasts, offering a huge variety of high-quality plants at great prices. Shoppers will find everything from native plants, orchids, and fruit trees to bamboo, bromeliads, palms, heliconias, and even carnivorous and water garden plants. Knowledgeable vendors—including specialists in bamboo, heliconias, fruit trees, and orchids—will be on hand to offer advice and answer your questions.
🎍 All vendors donate 20% of their sales to support FOZ, helping care for the animals and programs at the Pana‘ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens.
There’s plenty of parking, lots of open space to stroll, and something for everyone—so bring the whole family! Whether you’re a seasoned plant collector or just looking to brighten your yard, you never know what rare finds or surprises you’ll uncover.
