Hawai’i Island Residents Sentenced in Federal Drug Case

Hawai’i County Prosecuting Attorney Kelden Waltjen announced Friday that Malia Broome, 45, of Waimea and Billie Jack Peridot, 43, aka “BJ” Kawelo of Puna, were sentenced Nov. 18 to federal prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.
