Dogs to Compete in Mountain View Agility Event
The Kukini Dog Agility training facility in Mountain View will feature a sanctioned United Kingdom International agility trial this weekend, Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1, for dogs and their handlers.
The event is free and open to the public and spectators of all ages are welcome. Don’t bring your pets, however, as only competing dogs are allowed, said a media release.
There’s a large, covered ringside area from which to watch this fast-growing sport. Limited bleacher seating is available or bring your favorite travel chair.
The first run starts at 9 a.m. and events continue until mid-afternoon on both days.
Dog agility is a sport where handlers and dogs build teamwork and a closer relationship while learning to navigate obstacle courses. Training and classes are available.
The Kukini Dog Agility training facility is at 16-1208 Road #1, Hawaiian Acres in Mountain View. Visit the Kukini Dog Agility web site for information, a map and directions.
