Dinner, Silent Auction to Raise HCC Scholarship Funds

Hawaii Community College Alumni & Friends will host a dinner and silent auction next month to raise money for student scholarships.

The event scheduled for Nov. 2 at 5:30 p.m. will feature food prepared by the college’s Culinary Arts Program.

The dinner will be held at the Manono Campus cafeteria.

Alumni & Friends President Bobby Yamane described the event as “a perfect time for getting together with Hawai‘i CC alumni, retirees, active employees, and friends to enjoy an evening of great food, entertainment, and most importantly to talk story and have fun for a good cause.”

“One hundred percent of the proceeds raised will go towards scholarships for our students,” Yamane said.
