First Tee-Hawai‘i opens registration for programs statewide; sessions rolling out now
Registration is now open and sessions beginning for First Tee-Hawai‘i’s 2026 fall programming opportunities.
The youth development organization helps kids and teens ages 7 to 17 years old build their strength of character through golf. Trained coaches deliver programs, helping keiki build their inner strength, self-confidence and resilience — preparing them for the future.
“Using the game of golf as the platform, participants learn critical life skills to help them grow socially, emotionally and academically,” said First Tee-Hawai‘i in a release. “The need to empower our youth so that they’re prepared to tackle all of life’s challenges is critical now more than ever.”
The organization is excited to announce a new Big Island program location at Naniloa Golf Course in Hilo. Sessions begin today (Sept. 5). Here are additional details.
Naniloa Golf Course session
- Session dates: Sept. 5, 12 and 19
- Times: 9 to 10 a.m. ages 10 and older; 10 to 11 a.m. ages 7 to 9

LPGA*USGA Girl-Hawai‘i
First Tee-Hawai‘i, in addition to its 5-week sessions, will also host a kickoff for its LPGA*USGA Girls-Hawai‘i season. A special free clinic event is scheduled with LPGA TOUR star Nasa Hataoka presented by Hilton Grand Vacations.
Girls ages 6 to 17 years old of all golf skill levels are invited to this free event, which includes a clinic, question-and-answer session and giveaways.
