Hawai‘i Island police seek public help finding teen girl

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 14-year-old girl from Pāhoa, who was reported as a runaway.

Akira Cordeiro was last seen on Vista Drive in the Ainaloa subdivision on Sunday at 11 a.m., wearing a red athletic jersey and stretch material shorts. She is Caucasian with a fair complexion, medium build, about 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
