A phone line for the North Kohala Police Station, 808-889-6540, is currently not functioning properly due to storm damage related to Tropical Storm Moke, according to Hawai‘i Island police.

Those in need of immediate police assistance in the North Kohala area are advised to call 911. For all other police-related inquiries or assistance, call 808-935-3311.

The necessary repairs are underway and the public will be updated once the phone line is repaired.
