UPDATE: All of Plumeria Street again open to traffic following several hours of police activity

Hawai‘i Police Department reported shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, May 1, that all of Plumeria Street in Mountain View is again open to all traffic.

Police advised the public Friday morning to avoid the area for several hours because of an ongoing police activity on the Puna roadway, between the intersections of Orchid and Gardenia streets, in Mountain View.

The nature of the police activity remained unclear with the announcement that the roadway was reopen.

Hawai‘i Police Department thanks the public for its cooperation.
