PARENTS Inc. invites community members to lace up their sneakers and “Help Kick Child Abuse Out of Hawai‘i” by joining the fun at its eighth annual Kickball Tournament.

The family-friendly fundraiser April 18 at Walter Victor Baseball Complex in Hilo is dedicated to strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect in Hawai‘i.

Event schedule

  • 7 to 8 a.m.: Team check in and photos.
  • 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Kickball games.
  • 3:30 to 4 p.m.: Awards and winners announced.

Local businesses, organizations, families and friends will compete in an all-day kickball tournament featuring elimination-round play, team spirit and prizes.

The event is open to the public and offers a welcoming, keiki-friendly atmosphere for the entire ʻohana. Teams can be made up of adults or a mix of adults and youth age 8 years old and older.

Costumes and uniforms are encouraged.

Proceeds from the tournament directly support PARENTS Inc. programs serving children and families throughout Hawai‘i.
