Call for artists: Kona Coffee Cultural Festival seeks submissions for 2026 signature art

Kona Coffee Cultural Festival invites artists to submit original Kona coffee–inspired artwork for consideration as the 2026 festival signature art.

This iconic piece will be featured on official festival merchandise, marketing and promotional materials for the 55th annual celebration, slated for Nov. 6–16.

The selected artist will receive recognition, exposure and $500.

All submissions must be received by March 2.

Submission guidelines

  • Original artwork celebrating Kona’s coffee heritage.
  • All art mediums welcome: Illustration, painting, digital, mixed media, photography, among others.

Requirements

  • High-resolution digital file of artwork or actual art piece.
  • Short artist statement (150 words or less).
  • Contact information.

How to submit

  • Email entry to konacoffeefestival@gmail.com. Subject line: 2026 Signature Art Submission — your name.
  • Deliver art to Malia Bolton Hind at the Kona Coffee & Tea Co., located at 74-5588 Palani Road, in Kailua-Kona.
