As a gesture of gratitude for the local firefighters who serve and protect West Side communities, two Kona fire stations will receive home-cooked Thanksgiving meals on Thursday through a partnership between Chef Sam Choy and Kona Walmart.

Walmart provided the ingredients, and Choy and his family will prepare and personally deliver the meals to Stations 7 and 21 on Thanksgiving morning, according to a company press release.

Choy will be joined by Walmart store manager John Yates III for the delivery.
