Do you know this man and woman suspected in Waikōloa theft?

A man and woman walked into KTA Super Stores in Waikōloa the evening of Sept. 29 with 2 children and later left after allegedly stealing $165 worth of grocery items.

They were captured by video surveillance at the store off Paniolo Avenue, and Hawai’i Island police want to know if anyone knows them.

The theft happened shortly after 6 p.m.

The woman had a tan complexion with medium-length dark brown hair and was wearing a white top, light blue jean shorts and sandals.

The man also had a tan complexion with short, dark hair and a beard, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, dark colored board shorts and slippers.

Anyone who ight be able to identify the suspects or might have information relative to this case is asked to contact Officer Jessica Cook with the Hawai‘i Police Department South Kohala District by calling the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contacting her at jessica.cook@hawaiicounty.gov.
