Hawai‘i Island police renew request for help in finding Kona man

Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s help in locating a man from Kailua-Kona who was reported missing by his family on the mainland.

Daniel Immonen, 40, was last believed to be in the Kailua-Kona area in April 2023. He is Caucasian with a fair complexion, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds, with short blond hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen with a full beard.
