Big Island police looking for missing ʻendangeredʻ Hilo man

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the communityʻs assistance in locating 86-year-old Michael “Jim” Clark, who has been reported missing. He is considered endangered due to his age.

Clark was last seen on April 15, 2024, on the block of 1100 block of Komohana Street in Hilo.

Clark is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and 135 pounds. slim build, fair complexion, brown and gray medium length hair, and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Captain Cook and Kailua-Kona areas.

Anyone with information on Clark’s location should call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call the island wide Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
