Big Island police seek Honoka‘a woman missing since early November

Haunani Trask Gibson

Big Island police are searching for 60-year-old Haunani Trask Gibson of Honoka‘a, who was not at her residence off Hawai‘i Belt Road near the 39 mile marker of Highway 19 in the Kalōpā area on Nov. 6 when a family member went to check on her.

She is 5-foot-2, 156 pounds, with a light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what she was last wearing.

Anyone with information about Gibson’s location is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300.
