Waikoloa business offers ‘Home Watch’ services
Big Island Property Monitoring Consultants has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for a sixth year.
The National Home Watch Association was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for “Home Watch” and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada.
Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence.
Big Island Property Monitoring Consultants owners Debbie Albrecht and David Kelly were inspired to start a Home Watch company by their own experience of owning a vacation home in Hawai‘i before making the move from Colorado.
Through the years, they spent many hours renovating their homes, so they couldn’t help but wonder what the condition of one property was while spending time at the other. While they were fortunate enough to not have any real issues, there were minor things that created stress in their lives, which could have been resolved with a service like the one they provide.
A professional Home Watch company conducts scheduled visits and is not a house-sitting or live-in service. They provide detailed reports informing you of the interior and exterior condition of your home.
Big Island Property Monitoring Consultants offers Home Watch, handyman and concierge services. They are accredited by the National Home Watch Association, which means they have been vetted with background checks, maintain proper insurance specific to Home Watch services and are bonded.
Big Island Property Monitoring Consultants serves Waikoloa and Kailua-Kona, south to South Kona, north to Kohala Ranch, and east to Waimea.
