20th annual Luck of the Irish charity golf tournament for Hawaiʻi Island United Way
The Luck of the Irish Golf Tournament is back on March 12 and 13 for its 20th year as a fundraiser for the Hawai’i Island United Way.
The event brings local companies, organizations and donors together on the golf course to raise funds to build a better future helping Big Island communities to thrive.
The festivities begin on March 12 with a pre-tournament golf at the luxurious Mauna Lani South Course at noon. It is included in the Pot of Gold package for the first 48 pre-registered sponsors to test their luck before the actual competition begins.
The fun continues Sunday evening at the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa, where there will be music entertainment, heavy pupus, cocktails and a silent auction.
On March 13, the tournament will be at the prestigious Club at Hōkūli’ā. Enjoy a fun-filled day of golf followed by celebratory lunch awards. The event’s major sponsor is The Club at Hokuli’a and its corporate sponsor is Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa.
“Join us on the golf course for a great time, knowing that your participation in the 20th Annual Luck of the Irish Golf Tournament contributes directly to helping so many individuals who are in great need in our communities here on Hawai’i island,” said Karen Davis, Hawai’i Island United Way’s president and chief professional officer. “Your generosity will have a far-reaching impact from keiki to kūpuna.”
The tournament is limited to 80 participants. All sponsorship packages and inclusions are outlined on the Hawaiʻi Island United Way website. You can also contact Chelsy Walport, Campaign & Special Events Coordinator, at 808-935-6393 ext. 6 or campaign@hiuw.org.
