Update: Jaysy Salvador, 15, was located in good health in Puna on Oct. 25.
Original post: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Jaysy Salvador of Kea‘au who was reported as a runaway.
Salvador was last seen on the evening of Oct. 21 in the Hawaiian Paradise Park area wearing a black shirt, black pants and a pink backpack. She is described as 5 feet tall, 92 pounds, thin build with straight grey hair and blue eyes.
Police ask anyone with information on Salvador’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
