Alexander & Baldwin announced the opening of Hawai‘i Kind Grinds at its Queens’ Marketplace in Waikōloa Beach Resort on the island of Hawai‘i, the property owner stated in a news release Tuesday, Aug. 23.

The locally owned café is the newest addition to the center’s diverse collection of food establishments in the Ono Food Court, the largest food court on the Kohala Coast.

Hawai‘i Kind Grinds offers an all-day breakfast and lunch menu of fast, fresh, nutritious
options, including its acai bowls, smoothies, avocado toast, sandwiches, and wraps. The café is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for dine-in and take-out. Information and online ordering are available at www.hawaiikindgrinds.com.

For owner Brittany Isaac, the café is a natural extension of her other business at Queens’
Marketplace, Yoga Barre Hawaii, a popular yoga and barre fusion studio and boutique that opened in 2019.

“Up until now our Yoga Barre space featured a juice bar with cold-pressed juices, acai bowls and smoothies,” Isaac said. “We’ve had a great response and following from our customers that inspired us to build that part of our business. At Hawai‘i Kind Grinds, our full kitchen enables us to offer a more diverse menu of thoughtfully sourced, house-made food, including the popular acai bowls and cold-pressed juices that our patrons have come to love. And we’re right around the corner from the yoga studio.”

“We are excited that Brittany has chosen to expand at Queens’ Marketplace,” said Stacie Chiba-Miquel, Alexander & Baldwin regional manager. “Local residents and resort visitors who have been drawn to the organic acai bowls and fresh-pressed juices offered at Yoga Barre can now enjoy those favorite foods and more at Hawai‘i Kind Grinds.”
