The Pacific Whale Foundation is giving keiki throughout the islands a chance to have some online ocean fun again this summer.

The Hawai’i nonprofit ocean conservation organization’s online Ocean Camp returns for two weeks, from 9-10:30 a.m. June 20-24 and July 11-15. The camp offers learning opportunities for children entering or enrolled in grades 1-5.

Campers will learn about the ocean and the natural environment while building skills, making new friends and participating in groups. Each week will explore a unique ocean-related theme through online engagement, science lessons and team-building games. Campers will also be given optional science activities and crafts they can do offline, independently or with families and friends.

The first session’s theme is “Big Blue,” bringing participants deep into the world of ocean exploration. The second session’s theme, “Life from Lava,” will focus on the variety of natural life found within the Hawaiian Islands.

Each session can accommodate up to 15 participants. Because of the limited number of campers allowed, early registration is recommended.
