15 New COVID Cases Confirmed on Big Island
The state Department of Health reported 118 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 236,269. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 15 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Big Island. Hawai’i County Civil Defense reports 570 active cases and nine people hospitalized.
Community testing is scheduled today, in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 3-7 p.m.
Community testing is scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, in South Kona at Yano Hall from 7-8 a.m., and in North Kona at the Old Kona Airport Pavilion from 3-7 pm.

A total of 8,294 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,334 have died.
