294 New Cases Reported Tuesday
The state Department of Health reported 294 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 232,302. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 49 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Big Island. The DOH reports 1,522 active cases and 27 people hospitalized on the Big Island.
Testing for today, Tuesday, is scheduled in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from noon to 7 p.m.
Testing for tomorrow, Wednesday, is scheduled in South Kona at Yano Hall from 7-8 a.m., in North Kona at Old Kona Airport Pavilion from noon to 7 p.m. and in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from noon to 7 p.m.

A total of 7,964 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,262 have died.
