150 New COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths Reported Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 150 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 89,379. No new COVID-related fatalities were reported. However, on Monday, Dec. 13, Kauaʻi County reported two new deaths associated with the novel virus.
A total of 10 new infections were identified on the Big Island.
The state’s seven-day average is now 129 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 2.0%. For Hawaii County, the Department of Health reports 10 new cases, 142 active cases, and 7 persons hospitalized.

A total of 5,126 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,058 have died.
