Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation announced road and lane closures for the week of Nov. 27 to Dc. 3. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.

All projects are weather permitting.

WAINAKU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaiʻi Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Wainaku Street and Old Māmalahoa Highway/Kaʻaukai Place on Saturday, Nov. 27 through Monday, Nov. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

Single lane closure on Hawaiʻi Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Old Onomea Road and Old Māmalahoa Highway/Airstrip Road on Tuesday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

HONOMU (24/7 RESTRICTION)

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between Aliʻi Drive and vicinity of Kiʻilae Road, on Monday, Nov. 29 through Friday, Dec. 3, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for paving.

HŌNAUNAU-NAPOʻOPOʻO (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Māmalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between vicinity of Haleili Street and Kaohe Road, on Saturday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping maintenance.

Single lane closure on Volcano Road (Route 11) possible in either direction between vicinity of North Peck Road and vicinity of North Kopua Road, on Tuesday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and mulching.

Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between vicinity of the transfer station and vicinity of Puakalo Place, on Tuesday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for landscape maintenance.

Single lane closure on Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) possible in either direction between Maluhia Road and vicinity of Niu Lane, on Tuesday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for shoulder maintenance and culvert cleaning.
