Shayla-Rae Pomroy

Authorities are seeking the public’s help locating a 17-year-old runaway.

Shayla-Rae Pomroy of Hilo was last seen in the area of the 1700 block of Kino’ole Street, on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 3:55 a.m. wearing a maroon sweatshirt, black shorts, and white sandals.

Shayla-Rae is described as having fair skin, being 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Hawaiʻi Police ask anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
