Puna Woman Arrested on Charges of Prescription Forgery

A Puna woman is facing a myriad of charges in connection to prescription forgery and felony drug possession offenses.

On Friday, Nov. 19, 36-year-old Lila Lu Rose Clark was charged with drug prescription forgery and felony drug possession offenses in relation to five separate incidents that occurred between October 2020 and February 2021.

Clark was charged with 15 felony offenses including, five counts each of second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug as she was allegedly in possession of 25 or more capsules, tablets, ampules, dosage units, or syrettes of Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen).

The 36-year-old was also charged with second-degree forgery and prohibited acts.

Clark remains in custody in lieu of $100,000 bail pending her initial appearance on Monday in Hilo Circuit Court.
