13 New COVID Cases Confirmed on Big Island
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 38 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 84,402. No new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
A total of 13 new infections were identified on the Big Island Tuesday. Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense Agency reported 393 active cases, and 15 persons hospitalized.
The state’s seven-day average is now 112 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.7%.

A total of 4,756 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 916 have died.
