Daily Cases Dip Below 200 Monday
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 195 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 80,323. Three new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
A total of 40 new infections were identified on the Big Island Monday.
The state’s two-week average is now 259 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 3.5%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:

Kaua‘i: 2,327
Moloka‘i: 231
Lana‘i: 139
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,447
A total of 4,382 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 811 have died.
