Male Wanted For Questioning in Connection to Vandalism Incident in Kona

Authorities seek the public’s help identifying a male wanted for questioning in connection to a vandalism that occurred in Kailua-Kona earlier this week.

The incident occurred on Monday, Sept. 6. According to Hawaii Police, a building on Onipa’a Street was vandalized. Police didn’t release the nature of the vandalism.

Surveillance cameras identified the suspect as being a Marshallese male in his late teens or early 20s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135 pounds, with a tattoo on his left upper chest. During the course of the incident, he was shirtless and wearing a thin metal chain.

When he left the scene he was wearing a black shirt, dark camouflage pattern shorts, and a red fanny pack.
