DOH Reports 124 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 124 new cases of coronavirus statewide Saturday, bringing the overall total to 30,090. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
A total of 20 new cases were identified on the Big Island Saturday. According to Hawai‘i County Civil Defense Agency, there are currently 164 active cases and nine hospitalizations. The state’s two-week average is now 91 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 2.9%.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:

Hawai‘i: 3,366
Kaua‘i: 462
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 57
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,453
A total of 2,554 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 523 have died.
To date, a total of 1,723,223 vaccinations have been administered statewide.
