105 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Statewide
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 105 new cases of coronavirus Saturday. The statewide total is now 33,637. One new COVID-related death was also reported.
Three new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Saturday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 69 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 25,735
Maui: 3,560
Hawai‘i: 2,754
Kaua‘i: 307
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 43
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,126
A total of 2,229 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 491 have died.
