Hawaii COVID Totals Continue to Hover Around 100
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 101 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday. The statewide total is now 31,270. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
Eleven new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Saturday, per DOH statistics. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the department’s website.
The state’s two-week average is 81 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.5%.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:

Hawai‘i: 2,632
Kaua‘i: 200
Lana‘i: 111
Moloka‘i: 35
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,010
A total of 2,076 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 474 people have died.
