Vaccine Eligibility Expands to Ages 60 and Older Statewide, Younger on Big Island
All Hawai´i residents 60 years of age and older are eligible to register for COVID-19 vaccinations beginning today.
Other age exceptions vary by county. On the Big Island, residents aged 50 years and older are eligible to sign up for the vaccine. Anyone over the age of 18 can register on the islands of Lana´i and Moloka´i.
The State of Hawai´i said it continues to plan to expand eligibility to every resident over the age of 16 by the beginning of May.
Several categories of essential workers, including those who work in the restaurant and travel industries, are also eligible to receive the vaccine.
