DOH Reports 45 New COVID Cases Thursday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 45 new cases of coronavirus Thursday, raising the statewide total to 27,358. Zero new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average is 47 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.2%.
One new case was identified on the Big Island Thursday, according to county statistics. The state’s virus tracker, which maps cases by district across all islands, can be accessed here.

Hawai‘i: 2,237
Maui: 2.106
Kaua‘i: 182
Lana‘i: 108
Moloka‘i: 27
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 829
A total of 1,858 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 435 people have died.
