Section of Wainaku Street Closed Due to Downed Tree

A section of Wainaku Street in Hilo is slated to be closed for several hours due to a downed tree.
Hawai‘i Police Department put out an alert early this morning indicating Wainaku Street between Hau Lane and Halaulani Street was closed in both directions.
Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
