STUDY: Hawai‘i No. 2 State to Find Love After 50
Hawai‘i is one of the best states in the nation to find love after 50, according to a new national study by TheSeniorList.com.
Hawai‘i ranked No. 2 in the nation, with senior singles having a 67.9% chance of finding that special someone.
The study compiled a listing of the “Best And Worst States For Finding Love After 50” using U.S. Census Bureau data on marriage and income.
Maryland barely beat Hawai‘i for the top spot at 68.2%—less than half a percentage point ahead. Hawai‘i’s ranking is due in large part to the proportion of older adults with higher income levels (67% make more than $50,000), which is the third highest rate in the nation.
