Looking Ahead

A slow moving front will shift southward down the island chain today through Sunday, bringing showery trade wind weather to the central islands today and the eastern islands tonight and Sunday. The front will stall out and dissipate by Sunday night, bringing a return of more typical trade wind weather featuring windward and mauka showers and the occasional leeward spill over. This more typical trade wind weather pattern will hold in place through the upcoming work week. The trade winds will be cranking through the weekend and most of next week, with breezy to windy conditions expected statewide.
