Aguedo D. Domogma, 88 of Lahaina, Maui passed away peacefully on August 13, 2018 surrounded by loving family. He was born on December 23, 1929 in San Ramon Manabo Abra, Philippines.He retired as a Pioneer Mill Plantation Worker. He was predeceased by siblings, Sabian Domogma, Gregorio Domogma, Gabina Balacay, and Mariano Domogma. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Josefina Domogma; son, Ryan Domogma; daughter, Airene Domogma; siblings, Teresa Cagdan, Carmen Domingo, Sophia Ballaso; grandchildren, Jazmyn, Erica, and Faith.Visitation will be held at Norman’s Mortuary on Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. with service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church in Lahaina from 9:00 a.m. with Mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku at 12:30 p.m.

Matilda M. Akui (Mama), 88 years old. Born in Honokaa, HI on August 27, 1929 – died on August 10, 2018 at Hale Makua Kahului, Maui. Predeceased by her beloved husband, John A. Akui of 62 years before he passed in 2008.She was a homemaker, great cook and together they raised 5 daughters. She was loved by all her kids, grandkids, great & great-great grandkids.She is survived by her daughters, Betty Jane Ah Nee (Morris), Priscilla Ann Amoral (Ernie), Yulinda J. Akana (Dennis) – Henderson, NV, Abbie Akui Seabury (Mike) – Kapolei, Oahu, Maelisa Santos (Tony); brother, Daniel C. Martinez (Rosie) – Ewa Beach, Oahu; sister, Mary (Maymie) Veles – Hayward, CA; 17 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held at Norman’s Mortuary on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. with service to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Maui Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.We want to give thanks to the staff at Hale Makua Kahului and Dr.Gaylan Yee for taking good care of our mom!

Josefina Yasay Pagatpatan, 95 of Kihei, Maui had peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 9th, 2018 under the care of Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born in Pinili, Illocos Norte, Philippines on February 10th, 1923 to the late Pelegrino & Agapita Yasay.She was a Housekeeper for The Hale Pau Hana in Kihei. She was predeceased by her husband, Marcelo Pagatpatan; sister, Thomasa Yasay; brothers, Estanislao Yasay, Casimero Yasay, Loreto Yasay and Justo Yasay. She is survived by her children, Connie (Roger) Bio, Reynaldo Pagatpatan Sr., Amante (Gloria Valite) Pagatpatan, Rogie Pagatpatan; Grandchildren, Catt and Stacy Bio, Rey Jr., Ken, Rae-Ann, Chris, Cheyna Pagatpatan, Sherri-Ann (Frankie) Ah Puck, 10 Great-grandchildren and 4 Great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Norman’s Mortuary from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with prayer service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku at 2:00 p.m.

Susan Milligan

October 17, 1950 – August 7, 2018

Susan Milligan, 67, of Kihei, Maui, passed away on August 7, 2018 after a yearlong illness. She was under the care of Bayada Home Care, Care Resources and Maui Hospice. She was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Helen Mangold and her husband of many years Bernie Milligan. She is survived by her Fiance, Robert Lopes, brother Michael Mangold, sister Sally Plattner and brother David Mangold. She was a graduate of Roanoke-Benson High School in 1968 and four years later earned a bachelor’s degree with an Education major from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Susan spent most of her career successfully with State Farm Insurance in various Information Technology and administrative management roles. She was notably the first woman promoted to data processing group management in State Farm history. She spent a number of years in Bloomington, Illinois, Maryland and later California for many years until her retirement. In 2006 she and her husband Bernie moved to Maui. Susan met Robert Lopes several years after the passing of her husband and thereafter the couple enjoyed travel and especially taking in the sights and culture of the Hawaiian Islands. She will be dearly missed. Memorial services will be held in late September, to be announced, in Kihei, Maui and later in the fall in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where her siblings and she often spent many reunions together.

Randy Basilio Topinio, 44 passed away on August 6, 2018 in Washington. He was born in Wailuku, Maui on March 15, 1974.He is survived by his loving Girlfriend of 2 years Nycole Fercheck; parents, Anacleto and Dionisia Topinio; brother, Andy Topinio (Maricel); daughters, Makenzie and Mia Grace Topinio. Visitation will be held at 7 Day Adventist in Lahaina on Thursday August 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. Mass to begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday August 24, 2018 at 7:30 a.m. at Norman’s Mortuary. Burial to follow at 9:00 a.m. at Maui Memorial Park.Randy’s Family would like all friends and family to join them for lunch at Norman’s Mortuary following the Burial Services. His family would also like to extend their many Thanks to all the friends and family that could come and pay their respects.
