Swell Summary
Outlook through Monday August 06: An uptick of trade winds is expected to bring an increase in wind swell Tuesday through Thursday along east facing shores. A few small south swells are expected to arrive late Tuesday and Thursday and will help maintain background surf along south facing shores through the week. A small and short-lived north-northwest swell is expected to arrive on Wednesday along north facing shores. Otherwise, no significant swells are expected through the weekend.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.

Surf: Waist to chest high ESE wind swell for the morning going more E and building into the stomach to shoulder range in the afternoon.
Conditions: Choppy/sideshore current with SE winds 15-20mph.
North West

Surf: Ankle to knee high SW extra long period swell.
Conditions: Semi glassy in the morning with ENE winds less than 5mph. Bumpy/semi bumpy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting W 5-10mph.
West

Surf: Knee high SW ground swell with occasional thigh high sets.
Conditions: Glassy in the morning with SE winds less than 5mph. Semi glassy/semi bumpy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting WNW 5-10mph.
South East

Surf: Waist to chest high ESE medium period swell with occasional shoulder high sets.
Conditions: Bumpy/semi bumpy with E winds 5-10mph in the morning shifting ENE for the afternoon.
