Residents of the local area will notice an increase in activity aboard the installation to include smoke, aircraft noise, open water operations, troop movement and pyrotechnics.  The access roads to Pyramid Rock Beach will also be closed for the duration of the exercise.

Twenty-five nations, 46 ships, five submarines, about 200 aircraft and over 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 27 to Aug. 2 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California.
