UPDATE: July 3

The North Kohala man reported as missing has been found. He is deceased.

The case is being investigated by the Area II Criminal Investigation Section as a Coroner’s Inquest. No foul play is suspected.

An autopsy will be conducted later this week to determine the exact cause of death.

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Israel Victorino-Rabang, 23, who has been reported missing.

Victorino-Rabang was last seen around 4:30 p.m., Sunday afternoon, July 1, 2018, riding a skateboard on Kumakua Street in Hawi in North Kohala.

He has a condition that requires medication.

Victorino-Rabang is described as about 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with a medium complexion and long hair.

He was last seen wearing dark-colored shorts and no shirt.

Anyone who may have information of his whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
