Looking Ahead
A surface ridge north of the islands will maintain breezy trade winds today, with a trend toward lighter trade winds expected to begin on Friday. A shower band over all islands will gradually clear this afternoon. Light to moderate trade winds over the weekend will bring fewer windward showers, while allowing afternoon sea breezes to develop along leeward coasts. Another increase in trade wind showers is possible early next week as trade wind speeds increase again.
