Swell Summary
Outlook through Monday February 12: The current west-northwest swell will continue to gradually subside through early Thursday. A new advisory level northwest swell will arrive on north and west facing shores from Thursday night into Friday. This swell will quickly subside into the weekend.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
North East

Surf: Knee to waist high ESE wind swell with occasional stomach high sets.
Conditions: Semi glassy in the morning with SE winds less than 5mph. Bumpy/semi bumpy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting E 5-10mph. Clean conditions are expected by late afternoon with SSW winds 5-10mph.
North West

Surf: Stomach to shoulder high WNW ground swell.
Conditions: Glassy in the morning with E winds 5-10mph. Sideshore texture/chop conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SW 10-15mph.
West

Surf: Chest to shoulder high WNW ground swell in the morning with occasional head high sets. This drops a bit in the afternoon.
Conditions: Semi glassy in the morning with SSE winds less than 5mph. Semi choppy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting S 5-10mph.
South East

Surf: Waist to stomach high ESE wind swell.
Conditions: Semi choppy with SSW winds 5-10mph in the morning increasing to 10-15mph in the afternoon.
