Vandals Target Temple Children Mural in Hilo
There have been multiple reports of a vandal using the tag “Puna” marking different buildings throughout Hilo.
Last week, the “Puna” vandal tagged one of the murals that was painted by the Temple Children.
Mamo Market building tagged at Ponohawaii St. and Kinoole St.
On the wall of the sandwhich shop at the corner of Ponahawaii St. and Kinoole St.

The Temple Children is a local organization that completed six large-scale Hawai‘i Island-themed murals throughout downtown Hilo last year to help strengthen communities, promote social and environmental innovation and incite positive global change.
