HCFCU Welcomes New Human Resource Manager
Hawaiʻi Community Federal Credit Union announced that Samantha Leigh will be the new Human Resources Manager.
Leigh bring years of experience in Human Resource Management, she previously worked for Roberts Hawaiʻi as Human Resource Generalist and was the Human Resource Coordinator at the Sheraton Kona Resort. She plans to complete her Senior Professional in Human Resources training and certification in 2017.
Before moving to Kona, she started her career in Brisbane, Australia and spent several years working there as an employment law attorney.
At HCFCU, Leigh will be responsible for the Human Resources and Training Departments, and will oversee the Credit Union’s performance management, employee relations and service excellence.

Leigh graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) and Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resource Management. While living in Australia, she continued her education by passing the bar exam to become a lawyer, and also completed her Masters in Law in 2015 at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Leigh is also actively involved as a volunteer with Project Vision Hawaiʻi and also the Hawaiʻi Island Humane Society and Kohala Animal Relocation and Education Service.
